Angelo lives with his parents and his two sisters in a two-room brick structure in Itaugua, Paraguay. He is in grade seven at Jukyrymi School and his best subject is Math. He enjoys biking and playing soccer. At home, he helps by cleaning the yard. Angelo would like to become an electronic engineer someday. His dad does odd jobs and his mother cooks and sells food. They work hard, but are unable to earn enough income to provide their family's basic needs. At the Don Bosco Sponsor Site, sponsorship provides children with education, nutrition, and medical care. It also enables them to meet the basic needs that assist them in day-to-day life.
If paying by credit card online please write down the child’s ID number. Thank you!

A SPECIAL NOTE TO SPONSORS FROM THE USA. We will send you a receipt for income tax purposes following the end of each calendar year. Chalice is not a registered charity in the USA, but Canada and the USA do have a tax treaty which allows a tax deduction under certain conditions. Basically, a resident of the USA may be eligible to claim a deduction against taxable income received from Canada. Please consult a qualified financial advisor to review your own personal situation. You can still sponsor if you don't require an official income tax receipt. We have many sponsors from the USA and we send them our heartfelt thank you.
