Photo Friday: Our top 5 ‘God’s Grace’ photos.

Welcome to Photo Friday! Each Friday, we share photo collections of our favourite shots from our sponsor sites around the world.

It’s Friday the 13th, and you know what that means? Bad…er, good luck! Around here, we know that good luck is another way of saying God’s grace. This week, we’re sharing our top 5 ‘God’s Grace’ photos. After all, as 2 Corinthians 12:9 says, My grace is sufficient for you, for power[a] is made perfect in weakness.” These photos remind us that all we do is a product of God’s grace.

#5: A Meal For Those In Need

Non-sponsored children near our Tondo site in the Philippines came to collect a meal at a street lunch in 2020. It is by God’s grace that those who have easy access to food share it with others, something we’re all called to do.

#4: Sports

Sports are a unique aspect of society. They have the power to tear people apart, but also the immense ability to draw us closer together. By God’s grace, we are given gifts like the joy of watching a football game on a Friday night, or cheering on our kids at soccer practice. Or hey – even watching the Olympics that just wrapped up!

#3: Talents

Everyone has a talent! God blesses every one of us with some kind of skill or ability. Through God’s grace, we’re able to share those talents with others. Just like these girls in the Philippines!

#2: Sponsorship

Myra’s little brother and her own children have Chalice sponsors! It’s just her and her husband raising all of them together near our Samar site in the Philippines. She’s incredibly thankful to have sponsors supporting her family, through the grace of God.

#1: Friendship

Have you ever had a friend completely change your life? Those special people are, by God’s grace, there for us when we most need it. Often, they become like family. We’re so grateful God blesses us with friends!

Follow Chalice on Facebook and Instagram for daily updates from our sponsor sites, impact stories, and more! Be sure to check back next week for another Photo Friday.
